Making a wish list

In a December episode of the Get-It-Done Guy Quick and Dirty Tips podcast, the host mentioned creating a Christmas gift registry by having family members and friends create lists on TaDaList.com for what they wanted and then sharing those lists with each other. I thought this sounded like a great idea, and when my parents and Jam started probing me recently about what I wanted for my birthday, I decided to create a simple list of my own.

Here it is.

There are several ways you could go about creating such a list, including using TaDaList, an Amazon wishlist, or even using a social bookmarking site like del.icio.us, but for now, I've just transferred a private list of someday/maybe purchase ideas to a simple bulleted page on this blog. Eventually, it might be nice to dynamically grab this info from various sites that I use and shape it somehow, but for now it should suffice.

Point taken. I've changed the "Valentino Rossi" item to a more general "MotoGP fan gear..." in order to preserve my manly image )
