Gmail Love

I've had good luck using Gmail. It's fast, fairly simple, and is available anywhere I have an internet connection. Also, I switched over to using it for my work and school email (using Gmail's POP3 access feature and some forwarding) probably about a year ago and it's worked well - I access all my email accounts from one place.

I saw a really helpful feature today that, while it may not be that new or even original, saved me from making an embarrassing common mistake.

Gmail Attach Warning

I'm assuming that it guessed this by my message hint, but I could be wrong. Either way, it made me put on a geeky smile.

Do you use the Better GMail Extension? It's created by the guys at Lifehacker and gets updated and improved regularly. It's just a bunch of Greasemonkey scripts piled into one extension. You don't have to have Greasemonkey to use it.

I tried to make this link a "Click Here" link, but it didn't look like it would work.

Yes, I use some features of it, namely the signature feature and some minor formatting stuff. Neat stuff.

Yeah, google has many neat little features: Today I posted some text with an email address in it in google groups and it automatically hides part of the email. If you want to see the whole address, you must pass "Yes, I'm a human"-test.
